Data Retention & Deletion Policy
Effective May 30, 2026 · Updated May 30, 2026
How long we keep your data, what happens after account deletion, and how to request removal.
Our approach to retention
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our agreements.
Typical retention periods
- Account information is retained while your account is active.
- After account deletion, most personal information is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, targeted at 30 to 90 days, except where longer retention is required.
- Transaction and billing records are retained as required by law, commonly for several years, for tax and accounting purposes.
- Logs and analytics are retained for a limited period for security and improvement, then deleted or aggregated.
- Backups may persist for a limited additional period before rotation.
Requesting deletion
You can delete much of your data from your account dashboard, or request deletion by emailing privacy@aitoolsthatpay.com from the email on your account. We will verify your request and act on it within the timeframes required by applicable law. We may retain limited information needed to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security, and keep records of transactions, only for as long as necessary. For broader detail, see our Privacy Policy.
